How Druvlasen came to Nystuga

After Hjalmar Johansson, Klässbol's founder, completed his textile education in Borås in 1912-1915, he brought two books home to Värmland. They were both written by JE Ekenmark. One book, Handbook for young ladies in the art of making cotton and linen fabrics according to English data and own experiments, was published in 1820. The other book, Treatise on drills and double golf mats manufacturing with used harness equipment, was published in 1828.
In both of these books, Hjalmar found the pattern "Druvlasen" and decided to start weaving further on the pattern on his well-equipped jacquard loom in the living room of the Nystuga residence. The pattern that breathes celebration now slowly took shape again. Today, almost 200 years later from the origin of the original pattern, there are new colors and ready to face the future and festive dinner parties.
